AP Seminar
Advanced Placement (AP) Seminar is a college-level course that develops students’ critical-thinking, research, and communication skills. Students investigate real-world issues, analyze multiple perspectives, and create written and oral presentations supported by evidence. As part of the AP Capstone program, AP Seminar prepares students for AP Research and future college-level coursework.
AP Research
Advanced Placement (AP) Research is a college-level course that allows students to design, conduct, and present an independent research project on a topic of their choice. As the second course in the AP Capstone program, students develop advanced research, analysis, and communication skills while exploring an area of personal interest. Successful completion of the course prepares students for college-level work and may lead to college credit, depending on the institution.
AP Music Theory
Advanced Placement (AP) Music Theory is a college-level course that introduces students to the fundamentals of music composition and analysis. Students develop skills in music notation, harmony, ear training, sight-singing, and listening while exploring how music is structured. The course strengthens musicianship and prepares students for college-level study in music and related fields.
AP Psychology
AP Psychology introduces students to the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. Students explore topics such as brain function, learning, memory, personality, development, and social behavior while examining how psychological principles apply to everyday life. Through research, critical thinking, and real-world applications, students build analytical skills and prepare for the AP Exam as well as future studies in psychology, health sciences, education, and other related fields.
AP Human Geography
AP Human Geography explores how people, cultures, and societies interact with the world around them. Students examine topics such as population, migration, culture, political organization, agriculture, urban development, and economic systems while learning to analyze geographic patterns and their impact on human life. Through maps, data analysis, and real-world case studies, students develop critical thinking skills and prepare for the AP Exam while gaining a deeper understanding of global issues.
AP Comparative
Government & Politics
AP Comparative Government and Politics explores political systems and governments around the world. Students compare political institutions, public policy, and citizen participation while analyzing how different countries address global and domestic challenges. Through current events and critical analysis, students prepare for the AP Exam and gain a broader understanding of global politics.
AP Art- Drawing Portfolio

AP United States Government and Politics examines the foundations, institutions, and processes of the American political system. Students explore the Constitution, branches of government, public policy, civil liberties, political participation, and the role of citizens in a democracy. Through the analysis of foundational documents, Supreme Court cases, and current events, students develop critical thinking skills while preparing for the AP Exam and future studies in government, law, and public policy.
AP 2D Art Studio
AP 2-D Art and Design encourages students to develop their artistic voice through the creation of a portfolio of original works. Students explore composition, design principles, color, and visual storytelling while experimenting with a variety of two-dimensional media and techniques. Through creative problem-solving, critique, and portfolio development, students strengthen their technical skills, refine their artistic process, and prepare a body of work for AP evaluation.
AP Macroeconomics
AP Macroeconomics introduces students to the principles that shape national and global economies. Students explore topics such as economic growth, inflation, unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy, international trade, and financial markets while learning how economic decisions impact individuals, businesses, and governments. Through data analysis, real-world applications, and critical thinking, students prepare for the AP Exam while developing a deeper understanding of economic systems and public policy.
AP Art- 3D Art Studio
AP 3-D Art and Design challenges students to develop a portfolio of original three-dimensional artwork while exploring form, space, structure, and design. Using a variety of materials and techniques, students create sculptural and functional works that demonstrate creativity, craftsmanship, and conceptual thinking. Through experimentation, critique, and portfolio development, students refine their artistic process and prepare a body of work for AP evaluation.
AP Microeconomics
