Welcome to the College and Career Advanced Placement Program (CCAP) at Forest High
School — one of the most rigorous and rewarding academic pathways available. CCAP is
designed for students who are driven, resilient, and ready to challenge themselves at the highest
level.

CCAP Expectations
Motivated and Self-Driven
CCAP students take ownership of their academic journey. They demonstrate initiative by

than waiting for direction, they actively pursue excellence, set ambitious goals, and remain

Success in a rigorous program requires strong time-management and organizational skills. CCAP
students consistently meet deadlines, balance multiple advanced courses, and maintain accurate

Program Overview
Students are expected every semester to progress towards meeting their academic and
personal goals. Below is a summary of program expectations.
• Minimum of 10 AP courses at Forest High School over 4 years. AP courses taken
through external platforms (e.g., FLVS) do not count towards this requirement
• Maintain a 3.5 weighted GPA
• Students must maintain a full schedule of six (6) on-campus courses each year,
exceptions to this must be approved by the CCAP Coordinator
• Enrollment in off-campus or virtual courses (e.g., FLVS) may not replace core CCAP
course requirements and must be approved on a case-by-case basis.
The sample schedule below is intended to provide a general overview of the courses available through the College and Career Advanced Placement (CCAP) program. Individual student schedules will vary based on previously completed coursework, course prerequisites, graduation requirements, and personal interests.
