Jennifer Yandle
My job at Forest High School is to serve as a co-coordinator for the College and Career Advanced Placement Program (CCAP), working with students, families, and teachers to support and strengthen Advanced Placement opportunities across our campus. I work closely with teachers and students to support AP curriculum and help students find rigorous academic pathways that align with their interests and future goals. As an AP Statistics and AP Computer Science teacher, I am especially passionate about making advanced mathematics and STEM courses accessible to all students and helping them build the confidence and skills needed to be successful in challenging coursework.
My Story
I am a proud graduate of Forest High School and am excited to now have the opportunity to teach and support students at the school I once attended. After graduating from Forest, I attended Florida State University—Go Noles!—where I earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics. I am certified to teach mathematics and science in grades 6–12 and currently teach AP Statistics and AP Computer Science.
One of my goals as an educator and CCAP co-coordinator is to help more students see themselves as capable of succeeding in advanced courses, particularly in mathematics and STEM. I enjoy working with students and teachers to create opportunities that challenge students while providing the support they need to grow and succeed.
Outside of the classroom, I love to travel and SCUBA dive and have always enjoyed swimming. During my time at Forest, I have also had the opportunity to coach both swimming and beach volleyball. I am proud to be part of the Wildcat community and to help students discover new opportunities, challenge themselves academically, and prepare for their futures.
