Jennifer Hatchett

I am excited to be entering my second year as the College and Career Advisor for Forest High School's College and Career Advanced Placement Program (CCAP).

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida, where I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Exercise and Sport Science. While at UF, I met my husband, Tony, and what started as a college adventure turned into a lifelong home in Florida.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping students solidify their plans for the future. Whether they choose to attend college, pursue technical training, join the military, or enter the workforce, I enjoy helping students discover the path that best fits their goals, interests, and strengths. I especially love celebrating their accomplishments and watching them gain the confidence to pursue opportunities they may not have thought possible.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time on the water, and cheering on the Gators. Most of all, I love making memories with my husband, Tony (Forest High School Class of 1997), and our daughters, Holland (CCAP Forest High School Class of 2026) and Keeghan (CCAP Forest High School Class of 2028). As both a parent and an educator, I understand the excitement and emotions that come with preparing for life after high school. It is a privilege to walk alongside our students and families as they plan for the future, and I hope every student leaves Forest knowing they have someone who believes in their potential.
